Bitcoin Reigns Supreme as NFT Kingpin, Ethereum Trails Close Behind

Is Bitcoin Still the NFT Kingpin?

Hey there, NFTs are hot property, and Bitcoin's been riding high as the top NFT network for two days now. In the 24 hours leading up to Tuesday afternoon, BRC-20 and Ordinals NFTs raked in over $9 million, keeping Bitcoin's lead intact.

Ethereum's Not Far Behind

But don't count out Ethereum just yet. The blockchain giant still holds the second spot, posting $13.01 million in NFT sales on Tuesday, a hefty 47% jump.

Solana's Sales Stagnant

Solana's third-place ranking seems a bit shaky. Its NFT sales only saw a marginal 2% increase, totaling $7.30 million. It's a bit of a worry for the blockchain that's been riding high in the NFT world.

Top Three Networks Dominate

The top three networks—Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana—dominated NFT sales, with each surpassing $1 million in sales.

Polygon's Sales Slump

Polygon, which had been holding its own in the NFT race, saw its sales dip by 13% to $916,271. It's a reminder that the NFT market is always evolving, and even established networks can face challenges.

Bitcoin's Billion-Dollar Club

Bitcoin is on track to join the exclusive club of blockchains with over $3 billion in NFT sales this week. So far, only three other networks have reached that milestone.

NFT Outlook

NFTs are still buzzing, and it's anyone's guess what the next big thing in the space will be. But one thing's for sure: Bitcoin and Ethereum aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
