Bitcoin.com Partners with MoonPay to Enable Venmo as an Accepted Payment Method

Bitcoin.com, a pioneer in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space since 2015, has partnered with MoonPay to enable Venmo as an accepted payment method for U.S. users purchasing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the Bitcoin.com Wallet app and on the Bitcoin.com web portal. This makes Bitcoin.com one of the first partners to offer Venmo as a payment method through MoonPay, adding another layer of convenience and making it easier than ever to buy Bitcoin and crypto directly from the platform.

With more than 60 million users in the United States, Venmo is a payment option that many Americans already trust and use regularly for fast, seamless transactions. Using Venmo for purchases through MoonPay on Bitcoin.com provides a smooth checkout experience, further simplifying the process of acquiring Bitcoin and other digital assets.

“Buying Bitcoin can be hard when anti-acceleration banks are blocking people from getting their hands on the strongest asset in the world,” said Bitcoin.com CEO Corbin Fraser. “I’m very happy to see companies like Venmo making it easier for people to use their money.”

In addition to Venmo, Bitcoin.com continues to offer multiple payment methods for U.S. users, including PayPal, credit cards, and debit cards. This flexibility ensures that users have a range of choices when purchasing crypto, with Venmo standing out as a particularly user-friendly and accessible option.

This latest payment option is enabled through Bitcoin.com’s partnership with MoonPay, a leading global payments infrastructure provider. The collaboration between the two companies has been instrumental in expanding the available payment options for Bitcoin.com’s global user base. The partnership was first announced in September, and details can be found here.

Bitcoin.com’s continuous efforts to simplify the user experience and provide more payment options further cement its position as a leader in the crypto industry.
