Bitcoin (BTC) Price Struggles to Surpass $100K, Fractals Remain Negative

Bitcoin bulls are struggling hard to push the price above the psychological barrier at $100K, which could bring back confidence among the market participants

Bitcoin (BTC) Price Struggles to Surpass $100K, Fractals Remain Negative

Bitcoin price analysis: Bulls vs Bears in a Psychological Battle at $100K Zone

Bitcoin (BTC) price analysis showcases a psychological battle between the bulls and the bears at the $100K zone. While the bulls attempt to push the price higher, aiming to instill confidence among market participants, the bears maintain a strong presence, threatening to drag the price lower and retest recent lows.

The recent tariff war between the U.S. and other nations had a drastic impact on the crypto markets, causing a rapid decline in Bitcoin’s price. From trading above $102K, BTC quickly dropped below $91,500, driven by fear and panic among traders. The paused tariffs provided brief respite for Bitcoin and other altcoins, but bearish activity soon escalated once again.

Currently, the BTC price attempts to hold above the critical support range around $99,000, which could enable the bulls to push quickly above $100K. However, fractals indicate a bearish outlook, raising concerns for the upcoming price action.

Despite showing some strength, BTC’s spot volume remains relatively low. Moreover, both volatility and open interest are minimal, indicating that retail traders were heavily impacted by the recent sell-off, while large players or market makers are making a significant move.

Nevertheless, BTC price has closed the recently formed CME gap by revisiting $100K, hinting at a larger move on the horizon.

Bitcoin Long-Term Price Action: Bearish Crossovers and Demand Zones

Examining Bitcoin’s long-term price action reveals a potentially scary scenario. The MACD and the Bull Market Support Band are both nearing bearish crossovers, indicating a momental shift from a bullish to a bearish trend. This bearish momentum could drag the levels down to $86,000. However, the monthly RSI remains close to the upper threshold, attempting to validate a bullish divergence.

Despite the bearish crossovers, the possibility of a bullish continuation remains as long as Bitcoin (BTC) price holds within the critical demand zone between $96,475 and $99,360. Within this zone, chances of rising above $100K emerge, which could be sustained if the supply wall between $102,350 and $103,900 breaks. Therefore, the price action until the weekly close is crucial and will likely determine the next price action.
