Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction: Potential Rise to $180,000?
Mar 18, 2025 at 12:47 pm
Despite the price fluctuations, Dan Tapiero, Managing Partner, CEO, and CIO of 10T Holdings, remains positive about Bitcoin's future prospects.
The US government's policy shift towards crypto during the Trump era is a crucial moment that shapes the broader crypto landscape.
Recently, Dan Tapiero, Managing Partner, CEO, and CIO of 10T Holdings, highlighted the importance of this shift and its implications for Bitcoin's price movements.
Despite seeing the potential for further declines towards support around $76,000.
Despite the price fluctuations, Tapiero remains positive about Bitcoin's future prospects.
This optimism stems from his predictions of new highs for Bitcoin, which could be seen at the end of this year or early next year.
However, before the final surge to new peaks, Tapiero believes that Bitcoin will stabilize in a specific price range.
"I think we'll be in the $70,000 to $100,000 range for a bit. I'm going to say by the end of this year or early next year, we'll probably see that last wave to maybe $180,000 or so," Tapiero stated.
This prediction is in line with his previous analysis, which saw Bitcoin stabilizing after briefly dropping below $70,000.
During this stabilization phase, Tapiero noted that the macroeconomic picture remains mixed, with tight fiscal policy and market uncertainty.
However, he believes that the upcoming interest rate cut will help resolve these challenges.
"On the macro side, we're still seeing a mixed picture with very light fiscal policy. We're not expecting any new spending programs or anything like that.
The market is also showing some signs of fatigue or uncertainty with the recent rally in the last few months, and we're also expecting an interest rate cut in the upcoming meeting.
So I think that will help to resolve some of the challenges that we're seeing in the market with very light fiscal policy and market uncertainty," Tapiero explained.
On the bright side, he highlighted the strength in Bitcoin's fundamentals.
"On the crypto side, I think the picture is a bit more positive. We're still seeing strength in Bitcoin's fundamentals with the ongoing adoption and development in the ecosystem.
Of course, we've seen a stabilization in Bitcoin's price after it dropped briefly below the $70,000 level.
But overall, I think the picture for Bitcoin is still quite strong despite the recent pullback," Tapiero concluded.
In another development, Tapiero issued a serious warning against investing in altcoins.
Many were surprised when Bitcoin reached $100,000 and began stabilizing, while altcoins struggled.
According to Tapiero, many altcoins may fail and become worthless.
"I think a lot of altcoins are going to fail. We're seeing a liquidity vacuum in the market with the emergence of meme coins and altcoins that don't have a clear function.
For example, we're seeing a lot of Trump coins, meme coins, and other altcoins in Solana and Ethereum.
And of course, we're also seeing a liquidity vacuum with the emergence of meme coins and altcoins that don't have a clear function.
Many of these altcoins are being created simply to siphon liquidity out of the market and they don't serve any useful purpose.
Of course, this is a serious concern for investors who may be losing money in these altcoins.
"I think people are getting massively wiped out in altcoins. We're seeing a lot of liquidity being sucked out of the market by these meme coins and altcoins that don't have any function.
