Early Bitcoin Advocate Davinci Jeremie Becomes Ambassador of PEIPEI Meme Coin, Predicts $1B Market Cap
Jul 18, 2024 at 08:18 pm
Early Bitcoin investor Davinci Jeremie, who urged people to invest $1 in Bitcoin in 2013, has become the brand ambassador of the PEIPEI meme coin.
A brand ambassador has been announced for the PEIPEI meme coin, and it's none other than early Bitcoin investor Davinci Jeremie.
According to a post on social media platform X, Jeremie has predicted that PeiPei will reach a market cap of $1 billion.
At the time of writing, PEIPEI, which is one month old and combines the iconic Pepe meme with Asian culture, had surged 14% in the past 24 hours, trading at 0.0000003702 as per GeckoTerminal.
Earlier this month, Davinci had promoted PEIPEI, saying, "If you don’t buy PEIPEI, you are a fool."
As per Jeremie's public wallet address, he currently holds 2.1 trillion PEIPEI tokens, which are valued at around $778K.
Eleven years ago, Davinci made a YouTube video in which he urged people to buy at least $1 worth of Bitcoin.
“If you want to become wealthy in the future, I suggest you take $1, buy some Bitcoins, and put it in a wallet,” he said in the video.
Since then, Bitcoin has surged by over 90,000% from its 2013 price of less than $100.
The meme coin sector has surged more than 17% in the past week with Andy, Popcat, and Dogwifhat leading gains among the biggest meme coins with jumps of 104%, 54%, and 46%, respectively.
Meme coin presales are also benefitting from the boost to sentiment.
The Pepe Unchained presale has just blasted past $4.1 million amid rising interest, while the Play-to-Earn canine-themed game PlayDoge has pulled in over $5.7 million. Another hot project called WienerAI has surged past $7.5 million and is now offering investors a last chance to buy.
