CZ revealed he will donate all proceeds received to his address to assist affected investors.

The decision comes after these tokens, linked to CZ, triggered market panic. TST and BROCCOLI saw massive pump-and-dump activity, leaving many investors with significant losses. CZ emphasised that his actions are not an endorsement of the tokens but rather a gesture to support those impacted.

Meme Coin Frenzy

CZ recently found himself at the centre of a meme coin frenzy. A video featuring his dog, BROCCOLI, sparked the creation of meme coins under the same name. Initially, BROCCOLI’s price surged by 160%, but it later crashed by over 75%. Similarly, the TST token, highlighted in an educational video, saw a 52% drop in value last week.

Despite distancing himself from these developments, CZ acknowledged the unintended consequences. He stressed the importance of caution for influential figures in the crypto space.

CZ Donates $100,000 to Support Victims

In a significant act of goodwill, CZ donated 150 BNB (approximately $100,000) to a university student. The student had already contributed $50,000 to help victims of the Libra project. Interestingly, the student reportedly made substantial gains from BNB investments.

The donation address has since received additional BNB and tokens, surpassing CZ’s initial contribution. CZ confirmed he would not keep any of the funds. Instead, he plans to redirect them to TST and BROCCOLI victims.

CZ’s Message: A Warning Against Quick Gains

In a post on X, CZ cautioned investors against chasing quick profits. “When you try to make quick money, you often lose. When you give money away, you get more back,” he wrote. He reiterated that his actions should not be misinterpreted as an endorsement of any token.

CZ also shared insights on the recent LIBRA token pump-and-dump, endorsed by Argentinian President Javier Milei. He highlighted the importance of tokenomics and urged industry leaders to exercise caution when endorsing assets.
