Binance, the highest-volume trading exchange and largest-ever user base recorded, is celebrating International Women's Day 2025 by launching a sequence of global events.

International Women’s Day 2025 will see a sequence of global events launched by Binance, the highest-volume trading exchange and largest-ever user base recorded, to encourage women’s participation in crypto. The events will focus on empowering women with education, sharing successful stories, and economic inclusion in the world of crypto.
These events will take place between March 5 and March 15 in 11 cities around the world, on five continents. Some of the cities are Ho Chi Minh City, Dubai, Milan, Madrid, Nairobi, Cape Town, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Mexico City, Lomé, and Astana. Binance is organizing forums where women will be able to interact with local women leaders and learn more about the possibilities in blockchain and digital assets through panel sessions, networking sessions, and training workshops.
Despite improvements in gender diversity, men still largely dominate the crypto space. Binance is making a broad push to turn this around by providing women with more opportunities to engage in Web3 and creating avenues for them to excel in the industry. The company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Rachel Conlan, noted Binance’s efforts towards gender inclusion, stating that women now comprise 40% of its employees and half of its marketing team.
“Binance continues to be a trailblazer in advancing gender diversity in crypto and tech. Although strides have been made, there is more to be done to bring more women into crypto. Through our International Women’s Day initiatives, we seek to empower and motivate women, creating financial empowerment,” Conlan said. She added that the initiatives also aim to break down barriers to industry education and engagement.
In addition to International Women’s Day, Binance also supports women-led projects via mentorship classes, network relationships, and workshops. Among these projects, Binance Turkey’s Women in Technology Academy has already benefited more than 1,000 women. It plans to educate another 5,000 women in the coming five years.
This initiative is one of the many projects launched by Binance in the direction of opening up the cryptocurrency world and making it more diverse. Through learning and training, Binance aims to close the gender divide in Web3 and blockchain, thereby making it possible for women to take part and access the future digital economy.
