Alchemy Pay partners with Visa and Worldpay to enhance global crypto payments

Alchemy Pay, a global leader in bridging fiat and crypto payments, has achieved a groundbreaking milestone.

Global crypto payment solutions provider Alchemy Pay has registered as a Visa Ramp Provider Program in multiple regions: APAC, Europe, the U.S., and Canada. This move is part of a broader effort to close the gap between the crypto economy and traditional finance.

The Visa Ramp Provider Program allows third-party agents to convert fiat currencies to cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, and vice versa. It is part of Visa's initiative to facilitate the adoption of digital currencies globally.

Alchemy Pay's registration for the program was achieved with the support of payments technology firm Worldpay, with whom it formed a partnership to streamline and expand crypto payment solutions.

Alchemy Pay's efforts are focused on providing optimal solutions to crypto exchange, wallets, and merchants for smoother crypto-to-fiat conversions, enabling users to make payments more easily and securely.

Alchemy Pay's partnership with Worldpay was announced in December 2023 and provides access to Visa and Mastercard's payment networks, enabling users to buy and sell crypto using credit and debit cards.

Alchemy Pay has also been authorized by Visa for its Third Party Agent Program since January 2023. This authorization enables the company to provide payment services to Visa clients.

Furthermore, Alchemy Pay has been diligently increasing its compliance footprint. It has now secured a total of eight Money Transmitter Licenses in the U.S., with four being added recently. The company is also expanding its regulatory coverage in Southeast Asia, Europe, and the UK.

These steps demonstrate Alchemy Pay's commitment to meeting global standards and operating in a compliant manner.
