Aethir Catalyst Program Unveiled to Support AI and Gaming Innovations with a $100M Ecosystem Fund
Dec 01, 2024 at 09:30 am
Aethir, a Singapore-based web3 firm, has unveiled its plan to create a $100 million ecosystem fund to support artificial intelligence (AI) and gaming developments.

Singaporean web3 company Aethir has announced its plan to launch a $100 million ecosystem fund to support artificial intelligence (AI) and gaming developments. This initiative will provide funding and computational resources to companies building disruptive technologies in these industries. Through various grant programs and partnerships, Aethir aims to empower businesses with scalable computing power and financial resources to accelerate technological advancements.
Aethir Catalyst Program for AI and Gaming
The fund's initial phase includes the Aethir Catalyst program, which will offer grants and compute subsidies to promising AI and gaming enterprises. Grants will range from $5,000 to $200,000, distributed in Aethir's native utility token $ATH, which can be used to purchase compute power within the Aethir ecosystem. Eligible companies will also receive marketing support to boost their innovations.
In addition to grants, Aethir Catalyst will provide compute subsidies, reducing the cost of computing services by up to 35%. These subsidies will allow enterprises to scale their operations efficiently while minimizing expenses. Candidates for this program include AI-integrated enterprises, cloud gaming platforms, and gaming innovators with high user engagement potential.
Aethir's decentralized infrastructure is powered by over 43,000 GPUs and a network of 32,000 Edge devices distributed globally. These resources are optimized for high-performance AI workloads and cloud gaming platforms, ensuring reliable and scalable computing power for businesses of all sizes.
Ecosystem Support Through Aethir Edge
The Aethir Edge program enables operators of Edge devices to participate in the network and earn ATH rewards. The Aethir Foundation has allocated a fixed daily reward of 100 ATH per active device to incentivize participation from November 2024 through mid-2025.
Enterprises interested in participating in Aethir's decentralized network or collaborating through token allocations are eligible for the grant program. Applications will be evaluated based on computing demands, user engagement potential, revenue models, and innovation in AI or gaming. The Aethir Grant Committee, comprising industry experts, will oversee the selection process and determine grant sizes and milestones.
The fund's first phase includes collaborations with partners like XAI and XPLA. Future phases will introduce additional partnerships and expand Aethir's support for AI and gaming innovators. Aethir aims to establish itself as a key player in advancing AI and gaming technologies globally by offering enterprise-grade GPU services.
