A substantial transaction involving Aave (AAVE) has surfaced on the crypto radar, as a large whale has moved a significant amount of the token to Binance, the top cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
According to on-chain data, the whale deposited 17,002 AAVE, valued at approximately $5.9 million at the time of the transaction, into Binance’s platform.
Notably, this particular whale had acquired 49,640 AAVE seven months ago for $4.09 million, when the token was trading around $82.

After accounting for earlier trades, the whale still holds a total of 49,640 AAVE, now worth $3.91 million, having secured a profit of $13.5 million in total—marking a 330% return on investment.
The large transaction comes as AAVE has seen significant price appreciation in recent times. The token is currently priced at $328, which shows a 272% increase from its value a year ago. However, it still remains 50% below its all-time peak of $666, which was reached four years ago. During this latest cycle, AAVE reached a high of $384.
