Inspired by the artistic vigor of the early 20th century, the dime features Liberty on the obverse, wearing a Phrygian cap symbolizing freedom of thought, and a fasces on the reverse, representing power and authority. Despite potential mixed messages from the fasces' association with the Italian Fascist Party, the design remains a collector favorite, with Full Bands strikes and key dates like the 1916-D being particularly sought after.
