What is DODO? Detailed introduction to DODO coin online trading platform and total amount

DODO's innovative Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm has set it apart from traditional automated market makers (AMMs) by reducing slippage and improving capital efficiency for cryptocurrency traders.

What is DODO?

DODO is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that uses a unique market-making algorithm called the Proactive Market Maker (PMM) to provide liquidity for cryptocurrency traders. The platform was launched in September 2020 and has quickly gained popularity due to its innovative approach to liquidity provision.

How DODO Works

DODO's PMM algorithm differs from traditional automated market makers (AMMs) like Uniswap and Curve. In traditional AMMs, liquidity providers deposit their assets into a pool and receive LP tokens in return. The price of an asset in a traditional AMM is determined by the ratio of the two assets in the pool and is subject to slippage when large orders are executed.

Detailed Overview of the DODO Coin Platform

  1. DODO DEX: DODO DEX is a decentralized exchange that operates on the Ethereum blockchain. It enables users to trade cryptocurrencies without the need for intermediaries.
  2. PMM Algorithm: DODO utilizes a unique Proactive Market Maker (PMM) algorithm to provide liquidity for trading pairs. This algorithm aims to reduce slippage and improve capital efficiency compared to traditional AMMs.
  3. Liquidity Pools: Users can create liquidity pools on DODO by depositing their crypto assets. Liquidity providers earn rewards for providing liquidity, which are distributed based on their contribution to the pool.
  4. dToken System: DODO introduces dTokens, which are synthetic assets that track the price of underlying assets. dTokens enable users to trade assets with different value ranges without slippage concerns.
  5. Governance: DODO holders can participate in the platform's governance by voting on proposals that shape the platform's development.

Total Amount of DODO Coins

The total supply of DODO coins is 1 billion, distributed as follows:

  • 55% for ecosystem incentives (liquidity mining, community grants, etc.)
  • 15% for core team and early investors
  • 10% for the foundation
  • 10% for strategic partners
  • 10% for future team members and ecosystem development

The DODO coin is an ERC-20 token and is used for several purposes:

  1. Participation in DODO's governance: DODO holders can vote on proposals and influence the platform's development.
  2. Rewards for liquidity providers: Users who provide liquidity to DODO's pools earn DODO coins as rewards.
  3. Transaction fees: A portion of the transaction fees generated on DODO's DEX is distributed to DODO coin holders.
  4. Access to new features: DODO coin holders may gain access to exclusive features and benefits as the platform evolves.
