How to Send Bitcoins to Your Electrum Wallet

Step 1: Open Your Electrum Wallet

Launch the Electrum wallet and enter your password.

Step 2: Choose the "Send" Tab

Click on the "Send" tab at the bottom of the window.

Step 3: Enter the Recipient's Address

In the "Pay to" field, enter the Bitcoin address of the recipient.
If you are sending to a new address, you can scan a QR code for the address or click the "Lookup" button to find the address in your contacts.

Step 4: Set the Amount

In the "Amount" field, enter the number of bitcoins you want to send.
You can adjust the amount using the "+" and "-" buttons or by entering a value directly.

Step 5: Choose the Fee

The "Fee" field displays the transaction fee for sending the bitcoins.
Electrum automatically estimates an optimal fee based on network congestion. You can manually adjust the fee if desired.

Step 6: Review and Confirm

Carefully review all the details of the transaction, including the recipient's address, amount, and fee.
Click the "Send" button to initiate the transaction.

Step 7: Verify the Transaction

You will receive a confirmation message on the screen when the transaction is sent.
You can track the status of the transaction on the network using a block explorer website.

Double-check the recipient's address before sending any bitcoins.
