How to Move Trust Wallet to a New Phone

1. Back Up Your Existing Wallet:

Open Trust Wallet on your old phone.
Tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the menu.
Go to Settings > Wallet Connect and tap "Export Private Key" (or "Export Seed Phrase").
Write down or save your private key or seed phrase in a secure location.

2. Install Trust Wallet on Your New Phone:

Download and install Trust Wallet from the official website or App Store/Play Store.

3. Import Your Backed Up Wallet:

Option 1: Import Private Key

Open Trust Wallet on your new phone.
Tap "Import Wallet" on the welcome screen.
Select "Private Key" and paste your exported private key into the field.
Tap "Import."

Option 2: Import Seed Phrase

Tap "Import Wallet" on the welcome screen.
Select "Recovery Phrase (12 words)" or "Recovery Phrase (24 words)."
Enter your seed phrase in order and tap "Import."

4. Set Up New Account:

Trust Wallet will generate a new wallet address for you.
Make sure to back up your new private key or seed phrase.
Set up a password or biometric security for your wallet.

5. Verify Your Transactions:

Import your custom tokens or transfer funds to your new wallet address.
Check your transaction history to ensure everything has been transferred successfully.

Additional Tips:

Always keep your private key or seed phrase secret.
Store it in a physical location (written down) or use a password manager.
Avoid taking screenshots of your private key or seed phrase.
Update your Trust Wallet app regularly to ensure security.
