How to Get a MEMO Number for Trust Wallet

1. Ensure Eligibility

To obtain a MEMO number, you must be:

Signing up for a new Trust Wallet account
Sending XRP (Ripple) from an account with a MEMO

2. Create a Trust Wallet Account (If Applicable)

If you haven't already, download and install the Trust Wallet app on your mobile device. During the account creation process, you will be prompted to set up a recovery phrase for future use.

3. Access XRP Wallet

Open Trust Wallet and navigate to the XRP wallet section.

4. Tap "Receive"

This will display your XRP receiving address.

5. Locate MEMO

Below the receiving address, there will be a section labeled "MEMO." This field is where you will enter your unique MEMO number.

6. Understanding MEMO Numbers

MEMO numbers are assigned by exchanges or wallets to identify the specific recipient of an XRP transaction. They serve as a way to distinguish between multiple transactions made to the same receiving address.

8. Enter MEMO Number

Once you have the MEMO number, enter it into the "MEMO" field of your XRP transaction (either from Trust Wallet or the sending account).

9. Confirm Transaction

Confirm the XRP transaction details, including the receiving address, MEMO number, and amount. Once verified, proceed with the transfer.

10. Transaction Completion

After a successful transaction, the XRP will be received in the recipient's Trust Wallet account with the specified MEMO number as further identification.
