How to Obtain Your MetaMask BEP20 Address: A Step-by-Step Guide
- Install MetaMask: Visit the MetaMask website and download the extension for your web browser or install the mobile app.
- Create a Wallet: Open MetaMask, click "Create a Wallet," and follow the prompts to set up a new wallet. Make sure to write down your seed phrase and keep it safe.
Add Binance Smart Chain (BSC): On MetaMask, click "Settings" and select "Networks." Then, click "Add Network" and fill in the following information:
- Network Name: Binance Smart Chain Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
- ChainID: 56
- Symbol: BNB
- Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com/
- Switch to BSC Network: Once BSC is added, click on it in the Networks dropdown to switch to the Binance Smart Chain.
- Copy BEP20 Address: On the main MetaMask screen, click on your wallet address and select "Copy to Clipboard" to obtain your BEP20 address.
Your BEP20 address will start with "0x" and is used to receive and send BEP20 tokens (tokens based on the Binance Smart Chain).
