How to Add Uniswap Mainnet (UNI) to MetaMask

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange that allows users to trade Ethereum-based tokens directly from their wallets. To access Uniswap, you need to connect your MetaMask wallet to the Uniswap Mainnet. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:

1. Set up a MetaMask Wallet

a) Install MetaMask on your browser as an extension.

b) Create a new wallet or import an existing one.

2. Add the ETH Network to MetaMask

a) Click on the network dropdown menu in the top right corner of the MetaMask interface.

b) Select "Add Network".

c) Enter the following details:

Network Name: Ethereum Mainnet
RPC URL: https://mainnet.infura.io/v3/YOUR_API_KEY
Chain ID: 1
Symbol: ETH
Block Explorer URL: https://etherscan.io/

Replace "YOUR_API_KEY" with your Infura API key. If you don't have one, you can get it for free at infura.io.

d) Click "Save".

3. Add the Uniswap V3 Mainnet Network to MetaMask

a) Click on the network dropdown menu again.

b) Select "Add Network".

c) Enter the following details:

Network Name: Uniswap Mainnet
RPC URL: https://mainnet.uniswap.org/
Chain ID: 1
Symbol: UNI
Block Explorer URL: https://etherscan.io/

d) Click "Save".

4. Verify Network Addition

a) Make sure that the Uniswap Mainnet network is selected in the network dropdown menu.

b) You can verify the network addition by visiting uniswap.org in your browser while connected to the Uniswap Mainnet network in MetaMask. The interface should show that you are connected to the correct network.

Once you've added the Uniswap Mainnet network to MetaMask, you can start using Uniswap to trade Ethereum-based tokens.
