How to Add Tron (TRX) to Metamask

1. Install Metamask Extension or Mobile App

2. Create a New Metamask Account
- Open the Metamask extension or app and create a new account by clicking on "Create a Wallet." Set a strong password and keep it securely.
3. Initialize the Tron Network
- Click on the "Networks" tab in Metamask and select "Custom RPC."
Enter the following details:
- Network Name: Tron Mainnet
- RPC URL: https://api.trongrid.io
- Chain ID: 1
- Symbol: TRX
- Click "Save" to add the Tron network.
4. Switch to the Tron Network
- In the "Networks" tab, click on the dropdown menu and select "Tron Mainnet."
5. Add Tron (TRX) Custom Token
- TRX is not automatically available in Metamask. Click on "Add Token" and select "Custom Token."
Enter the following details:
- Token Contract Address: 0xf230b790e05390fc8295f4239b727e1fdb6684ed
- Token Symbol: TRX
- Decimals of Precision: 6
- Click "Next" and then "Add Token" to complete the process.
6. Transfer TRX to Metamask
- Obtain the wallet address associated with your Metamask Tron account.
- Send TRX tokens from an exchange or another wallet to this address.
- Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain.
7. View and Manage TRX in Metamask
- Once the transaction is complete, your TRX balance will be displayed in Metamask under the "Tron Mainnet" network.
- You can send, receive, or swap TRX tokens directly within the Metamask interface.
