How to Add Coinbase Wallet to Google Authenticator

Step 1: Install Google Authenticator

Download and install Google Authenticator from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Step 2: Open Coinbase and Enable 2-Step Verification

Log in to your Coinbase account on the Coinbase mobile app.
Tap "Security" in the bottom menu.
Under "2-Step Verification," tap "Enable."
Follow the on-screen instructions and choose "Google Authenticator App" as your verification method.

Step 3: Scan the QR Code

Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
Tap the plus (+) icon and select "Scan Barcode."
Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code displayed on the Coinbase app.

Step 4: Enter the Verification Code

Once the QR code is scanned, Google Authenticator will generate a six-digit verification code.
Enter this code into the Coinbase app to complete the setup.

Step 5: Save Your Backup Codes

After enabling 2-Step Verification, Coinbase will provide you with six backup codes.
These codes can be used to access your account if you lose your phone or the Google Authenticator app.
Store your backup codes in a safe place.

Additional Notes:

Your Coinbase Wallet is now linked to your Google Authenticator account.
Whenever you sign in to your Coinbase account, you will be prompted to enter a verification code generated by Google Authenticator.
If you want to disable 2-Step Verification, follow the same steps in Coinbase app and select "Disable 2-Step Verification" at the end.
