Step 1: Install MetaMask

Begin by visiting the MetaMask website and downloading the extension compatible with your browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Once downloaded, follow the installation instructions provided by MetaMask.

Step 2: Create a MetaMask Wallet

Launch MetaMask and click "Create a Wallet" to initiate the wallet creation process.
Establish a strong password and store it securely.
Complete the security measures, including the Secret Recovery Phrase, to ensure the safety of your wallet.
Once the wallet is created, you will be provided with a unique wallet address.

Step 3: Add Algorand Mainnet to MetaMask

Open MetaMask and click the "Networks" tab.
Select "Add Network" and enter the following details for Algorand Mainnet:
- Network Name: Algorand Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://mainnet-algorand.g.alchemy.com/v2/hGq9KH1sCEVIYsdWVL95v4vpsSXg6W2x
- Chain ID: 1
- Currency Symbol: ALGO
- Block Explorer URL: https://algoexplorer.io/
Click "Save" to complete the addition of Algorand Mainnet to your MetaMask wallet.

Step 4: Import ALGO Tokens to MetaMask

Obtain ALGO tokens from an exchange or through other means.
In MetaMask, switch to the Algorand Mainnet network you added earlier.
Click the "Import Tokens" button and select "Custom Token."
Enter the details of the ALGO token:
- Token Contract Address: 0x3CCDF92B7d23c0Af283743167E8012D1a7f335D6
- Token Symbol: ALGO
- Decimals: 6
Click "Import" to add ALGO tokens to your MetaMask wallet.

Step 5: Use ALGO Tokens in MetaMask

With ALGO tokens successfully imported into your MetaMask wallet, you can utilize them for various blockchain operations:
- Sending and receiving ALGO tokens to other Algorand addresses
