How to Set Up Google Authenticator for BybitStep 1: Install Google Authenticator

Download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. It's available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

Step 2: Enable 2FA on Bybit

Log in to your Bybit account.
Hover over your profile icon in the top right corner and select "Security Center."
Click on "Two-Factor Authentication."
Choose "Enable" for "Google Authentication."

Step 3: Scan the QR Code

Open the Google Authenticator app.
Tap the "+" button in the bottom right corner.
Select "Scan Barcode."
Use your device's camera to scan the QR code displayed on Bybit.

Step 4: Input Security Code

Google Authenticator will generate a 6-digit security code.
Enter this code in the "Verification code" field on Bybit.

Step 5: Confirm

If the code is correct, it will turn green and the "Confirm" button will be enabled.
Click on "Confirm" to complete the setup.

Step 6: Manual Entry (Optional)

If the QR code scanning method is unavailable, you can manually enter the secret key displayed on Bybit.
Open Google Authenticator and tap the "+" button.
Select "Enter a setup key."
Enter the secret key and your account name.
Click "Add."

Step 7: Backup Codes

When you enable 2FA, Bybit will provide you with 10 backup codes.
Keep these codes safely as they can be used to recover your account in case you lose access to your device.
