How to Use the Coinbase Authenticator App

The Coinbase Authenticator app is a two-factor authentication (2FA) app that adds an extra layer of security to your Coinbase account. When you enable 2FA, you'll be required to enter a six-digit code from the app whenever you log in to your Coinbase account, make a transaction, or change your password.

To set up the Coinbase Authenticator app:

Download the Coinbase Authenticator app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android).
Open the app and tap "Get Started."
Enter your Coinbase email address and password.
You'll be asked to scan a QR code. You can do this using the camera on your phone.
Once you've scanned the QR code, tap "Add Account."
Your Coinbase account will now be linked to the Authenticator app.

To use the Coinbase Authenticator app:

When you log in to your Coinbase account, you'll be prompted to enter a six-digit code from the app.
Open the Authenticator app and tap on the Coinbase account.
Enter the six-digit code into the Coinbase login screen.
