What is the Consensus Mechanism of HFT Hashflow (HFT) Currency?
Hashflow (HFT) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that enables users to trade digital assets directly with each other in a permissionless and non-custodial manner. The HFT consensus mechanism is a combination of Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS).
Proof-of-Work (PoW)
- In PoW, miners use specialized hardware to solve complex mathematical puzzles to validate transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain.
- Miners are rewarded with HFT tokens for successfully solving puzzles, creating an incentive to participate in the network.
- PoW is energy-intensive and can be slow, but it provides a high level of security and decentralization.
Proof-of-Stake (PoS)
- In PoS, validators stake their HFT tokens to participate in consensus.
- When a new block is created, validators are randomly selected to propose and validate new blocks.
