How to Return the Currency with Full Leverage on OKX
Requirements:
- Registered OKX account with funds in the Funding Account.
- The Funding Fee needs to be settled before returning currency with full leverage.
- The position should be maintained above the liquidation line.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Navigate to the Margin Trading Page:
- Log in to your OKX account and select "Margin Trading" from the navigation menu.
- Click on "Cross Margin" or "Isolated Margin" (depending on your preference).
Select the Currency to Return:
- In the "All Positions" section, locate the position with the currency you want to return.
- Click on the "Return" button associated with that position.
Adjust the Return Amount:
- Enter the amount of currency you want to return.
- The maximum returnable amount is limited by the available balance in the Funding Account and the maintenance margin ratio.
Specify the Return Type:
- Select "Return with Full Leverage" to return the currency using all available leverage.
- This option is available only if the position is in profit and has sufficient leverage to cover the return amount.
Review and Confirm:
- Check the summary of the return transaction, including the amount, fee, and impact on the position.
- Click on the "Confirm" button to initiate the return.
Monitor the Return Process:
- The return process will take some time to complete.
- Once the return is complete, the currency will be credited to the Funding Account.
Additional Considerations:
- Partial Return: You can return only a portion of the underlying currency. In this case, specify the desired return amount in the input field.
- Return with Partial Leverage: If you prefer to return the currency using partial leverage, select "Return with Partial Leverage" and specify the desired leverage.
- Impact on Position: Returning currency with full leverage will decrease the position's size and increase its leverage ratio. It is important to ensure that the new maintenance margin ratio meets the minimum requirement.
- Fees: OKX charges a small fee for currency returns. The fee varies depending on the currency and the return type.
