How to lock BitFlyer contract
To safeguard your investments, ensure you activate contract trading on your BitFlyer account before locking contracts.

- If you don't have a BitFlyer account, you can create one by visiting the BitFlyer website.
- Click the [Sign Up](https://bitflyer.com/en/register) button and fill out the registration form.
- Enter your email address, password, and country of residence.
- Agree to the BitFlyer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click the [Sign Up] button.
- You will receive an email from BitFlyer to verify your email address.
- Click the verification link in the email.
- You can now login to your BitFlyer account.
- Before you can lock a contract, you need to enable contract trading on your account.
- Login to your BitFlyer account.
- Click on the [Settings] tab.
- Click on the [Account Settings] tab.
- Click on the [Enable Contract Trading] button.
- Read the disclaimer and click on the [Enable] button.
- Contract trading has now been enabled on your account.
- Before you can lock a contract, you need to transfer funds into your contract account.
- Login to your BitFlyer account.
- Click on the [Assets] tab.
- Find the [Contract] section and click on the [Deposit] button.
- Enter the amount of funds you want to deposit and click on the [Deposit (JPY)] button.
- Your funds will now be transferred into your contract account.
- BitFlyer offers a variety of different contracts, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP).
- You can view the available contracts on the BitFlyer website.
- Once you have selected the contract you want to lock, click on the [Lock] button.
When you lock a contract, you need to enter the following parameters:
- Contract Type: The type of contract you want to lock.
- Contract Amount: The number of contracts you want to lock.
- Unlock Target: The price at which you want your contracts to be unlocked.
- Loss Cut: The price at which you want your contracts to be closed out at a loss.
- Once you have entered all of the required parameters, click on the [Lock] button.
- Your contracts will now be locked.
- Once you have locked your contracts, you can monitor them on the BitFlyer website.
- Login to your BitFlyer account.
- Click on the [Contracts] tab.
- You will see a list of all of your open contracts.
- You can track the current price of your contracts and their profit/loss.
