How to open a contract in MEXC
To open a contract in MEXC, create an account, activate futures trading, fund your account, access the futures market, place an order, and monitor your open positions.

- Visit the official MEXC website and click on "Sign Up."
- Enter your email address and create a password.
- Complete the CAPTCHA and click "Create Account."
- Check your email for the confirmation code and enter it on the website.
- Once your account is activated, proceed to the next step.
- Click on "Derivatives" in the top menu bar.
- Select "Futures" and click on "Activate Futures."
- Select the "Cross Margin Mode" or "Isolated Margin Mode" based on your trading preferences.
- Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click on "Activate" to complete the process.
- Click on "Assets" in the top menu bar and select "Spot Wallet."
- Choose the deposit method you prefer (cryptocurrency, credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.).
- Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the deposit process.
- Click on "Derivatives" in the top menu bar and select "Futures."
- Choose "Spot/USDT" or "Linear/USDT" based on your trading preference.
- Select the trading pair you wish to trade.
- Scroll down to the "Order Entry" section.
- Choose the order type you wish to place (Market, Limit, Stop, Stop-Limit, Advanced).
- Enter the desired quantity, price, and leverage (if applicable).
- Click on "Buy/Long" or "Sell/Short" to place the order.
- Click on "Orders" in the sidebar menu.
- You will see a list of all your open orders and positions.
- Mouse over the position to view details such as entry price, average price, and profit/loss.
- To close a position, open the "Orders" tab and click on the position you wish to close.
- Click on the "Close Position" button.
- Select the closing price or enter a specific closing price.
- Click on "Confirm" to execute the closing order.
- Use stop-loss and take-profit orders to manage risk and protect your profits.
- Leverage trading can amplify your gains but also your potential losses. Use it with caution.
- Monitor market conditions and news closely before placing trades.
- Consider using a trading bot to automate your trading strategies.
