How to Close Gemini Contracts
Closing contracts on Gemini is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few steps.
Step 1: Log into Your Gemini Account
- Visit the Gemini website and enter your login credentials.
- Once you are logged in, click on the "Contracts" tab in the top menu.
Step 2: Select the Contract You Want to Close
- On the "Contracts" page, you will see a list of all of your open contracts.
- Find the contract that you want to close and click on the "Close" button.
Step 3: Enter the Closing Amount
- In the "Close" dialog box, you will need to enter the amount of the contract that you want to close.
- You can enter the full amount of the contract or a partial amount.
- If you enter a partial amount, the remaining amount of the contract will remain open.
Step 4: Review the Closing Details
Before you submit your closing order, please review the following details carefully:
- The contract you are closing
- The amount you are closing
- The closing price
- The closing fee
- Once you have reviewed the details, click on the "Close" button to submit your order.
Step 5: Confirm Your Closing Order
- You will be asked to confirm your closing order before it is submitted.
- Please review the order details again and make sure that everything is correct.
- Once you have confirmed the order, click on the "Close" button again to submit it.
Step 6: Wait for the Closing Order to Execute
- Your closing order will be submitted to the Gemini exchange and will be executed as soon as possible.
- The execution time will vary depending on the market conditions.
- Once your order has been executed, you will receive a confirmation email from Gemini.
Step 7: Check Your Closed Contracts
- Once your closing order has been executed, you can check your closed contracts by clicking on the "Closed Contracts" tab in the top menu.
