1. Trading Fees
Maker Fees:
- VIP0: 0.02%
- VIP1: 0.015%
- VIP2: 0.01%
- VIP3: 0.008%
- VIP4: 0.006%
- VIP5: 0.004%

- VIP1: 0.03%
- VIP2: 0.02%
- VIP3: 0.016%
- VIP4: 0.012%
- VIP5: 0.008%
Takers are traders who place orders that immediately execute against existing orders in the market. They generally pay a higher fee than makers.
2. Funding Fees
- Funding fees are paid by traders who hold positions overnight. The funding rate is calculated based on the difference between the perpetual contract price and the underlying index price.
- If the perpetual contract price is higher than the index price, traders who are long the contract will pay funding to traders who are short the contract.
- If the perpetual contract price is lower than the index price, traders who are short the contract will pay funding to traders who are long the contract.
- The funding rate is usually updated every 8 hours.
3. Margin Interest
- Margin interest is charged on borrowed funds used to trade perpetual contracts. The interest rate is determined by the prevailing market conditions and is subject to change.
- Traders can reduce their margin interest costs by keeping their margin utilization ratio low.
4. Other Fees
- Withdrawal Fees: OKEx charges a withdrawal fee for each cryptocurrency withdrawal. The fee varies depending on the cryptocurrency and the withdrawal method.
- Deposit Fees: OKEx does not charge any deposit fees.
Overall, OKEx's charging standards for perpetual contract transactions are competitive with other major exchanges. Traders should carefully consider the fees associated with trading perpetual contracts before placing any trades.
