Bitget contract trading steps

To begin trading on Bitget, new users are required to create an account by providing an email or phone number, a secure password, and acceptance of the platform's terms and privacy policy.

Step 1: Create a Bitget Account

  1. Visit the official Bitget website and click on the "Sign Up" button.
  2. Enter your email address or mobile phone number.
  3. Create a strong password.
  4. Read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  5. Click on the "Create Account" button.
  6. You will receive a verification code via email or SMS.
  7. Enter the verification code to complete the registration process.

Step 2: Fund Your Account

  1. Log in to your Bitget account.
  2. Click on the "Assets" tab.
  3. Select the deposit method you want to use.
  4. Enter the amount you want to deposit.
  5. Follow the instructions provided to complete the deposit process.
  6. Once your deposit is confirmed, you will see the funds in your Bitget account.

Step 3: Choose a Contract

  1. Click on the "Contract" tab.
  2. Select the contract you want to trade.
  3. You can choose from a variety of contracts, including perpetual futures, options, and leveraged tokens.
  4. Each contract has different trading terms, so be sure to read the contract specifications carefully before trading.

Step 4: Place an Order

  1. Once you have chosen a contract, you can place an order.
  2. Select the order type you want to use.
  3. Enter the order price and quantity.
  4. Click on the "Buy" or "Sell" button to place your order.
  5. Your order will be executed immediately if the market price matches your order price.

Step 5: Manage Your Order

  1. Once your order is placed, you can view it in the "Orders" tab.
  2. You can modify or cancel your order at any time before it is executed.
  3. You can also set a stop-loss order or take-profit order to protect your profits.

Step 6: Close Your Position

  1. Once you are ready to close your position, you can do so by placing a closing order.
  2. The closing order will be executed immediately if the market price matches your order price.
  3. Once your closing order is executed, your position will be closed and you will receive the profits or losses from the trade.

Step 7: Withdraw Your Funds

  1. Once you have closed your position, you can withdraw your funds from Bitget.
  2. Click on the "Assets" tab.
  3. Select the withdrawal method you want to use.
  4. Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
  5. Follow the instructions provided to complete the withdrawal process.
  6. Once your withdrawal is confirmed, you will receive the funds in your external wallet.
