METIS Token Issuance: Price and Quantity

1. Issue Price

The initial issue price of METIS was $0.50 USD. This price was determined during the token sale event in September 2021.

2. Issuance Quantity

METIS issued a total supply of 1 billion tokens. Of this supply:

500 million (50%) were made available during the token sale.
200 million (20%) were allocated to the team and early investors.
150 million (15%) were reserved for future staking rewards and ecosystem development.
55 million (5.5%) were allocated to advisors and community contributors.
95 million (9.5%) were earmarked for future partnerships and acquisitions.

3. Lockup and Vesting Periods

Team and early investors: 50% locked for 1 year, 25% released monthly over 2 years.
Future staking rewards and ecosystem development: Locked for 2 years, then released gradually over 10 years.
Advisors and community contributors: 25% locked for 6 months, 25% released monthly over 1 year.
