How to Import ICP Coins into a Wallet
1. Choose a Wallet
- Polkadot.js: Official multi-chain wallet supporting ICP.
- Infinity Wallet: Dedicated ICP wallet with staking and governance features.
- Ledger Nano X: Hardware wallet that stores your ICP offline.
- Exodus: Cryptocurrency exchange with built-in ICP wallet.
2. Import Wallets
Polkadot.js:
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
- Create a new wallet or import an existing one using a mnemonic phrase.
- Navigate to "Accounts" and click "Import Stash Account."
- Enter your ICP account ID and corresponding derivation path (usually "ED25519" and "sr25519").
Infinity Wallet:
- Download the wallet application from the official website.
- Create a new wallet or import an existing one using a mnemonic phrase.
- Click on the "Receive" tab and select "Recovery Phrase."
- Enter your ICP recovery phrase and it will automatically import your wallet.
