Eigen Labs announced the acquisition of Rio Network, a decentralized network for liquid re-staking. Officials stated that Eigen Labs will not be creating a Liquid Retaking Token (LRT). Instead, the Eigen Foundation will be acquiring Rio Network’s code and intellectual property, which will then be open-sourced to better support new and emerging LRTs.
