QR Asset Management has unveiled plans to launch Brazil's first Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF) in collaboration with Vortx.

This ETF will be tracking the CF Benchmarks' Solana Dollar Reference Rate Index, serving as a gauge of the digital asset's market value.

Following regulatory approval by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the launch of this ETF now awaits authorization from the Brazilian stock exchange B3, indicating that the fund is currently in a pre-operational phase.

QR Asset, known for its role in introducing Brazil's first ETF, has expressed enthusiasm for this new venture, highlighting Brazil's standing as a key market for regulated crypto asset investments.

notably, QR Asset launched a decentralized finance ETF in February 2022, designated by the ticker QF111, which is benchmarked against the Bloomberg Galaxy DeFi Index, tracking major DeFi platforms like MakerDAO, Aave, and Uniswap.
