Dogecoin has overtaken German luxury automaker Porsche in terms of market cap, fuelled by the launch of an exchange-traded product (ETP) for DOGE in the Nordics and endorsement from billionaire Elon Musk.

According to data tracked by CompaniesMarketCap, Dogecoin spiked 165.5% over the past month to reach a market cap of over $57.6 billion, which now exceeds Porsche’s $54.89 market value.

On Tuesday, Valour, a subsidiary of Canadian digital assets firm DeFi Technologies, announced the launch of a Dogecoin exchange-traded product (ETP) in Sweden, giving investors broader access to the multi-billion dollar meme coin.

The Valour Dogecoin (DOGE) SEK ETP, which began trading on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock market, has a management fee of 1.9%, according to a press release on Nov. 26. The product is said to be the first-of-its-kind in the country, offering investors a “simple and secure way to gain exposure to DOGE.”

While investment vehicles offering traditional investors exposure to the spot price of crypto assets are currently limited to just Bitcoin and Ether (ETH) in the United States, Dogecoin could also potentially hit Wall Street as companies file with the Securities and Exchange Commission for Solana and XRP exchange-traded funds.

According to Johanna Belitz, Head of Nordics at Valour, a massive increase in Dogecoin demand following the U.S. presidential election was one of the key motivators for the product, which was also boosted by tech billionaire Elon Musk's recent statements.

Musk, who is known for being one of Dogecoin's most outspoken high-profile supporters, has sparked fresh interest in the meme coin through President-elect Donald Trump's new proposed federal agency, the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E), which Musk was recently appointed to co-lead with pro-crypto entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
