Virtual asset platform BitOasis has been granted a Virtual Asset Service Provider definitive license by the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).

This follows BitOasis onboarding under a provisional license from VARA in 2022, and then winning an MVP license at the turn of 2023.

Now, BitOasis has been granted a full VASP license, which will allow it to service retail, institutional and qualified investors in the region.

CoinDCX enters MENA with BitOasis acquisition

One of India’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges CoinDCX, which made an investment in BitOasis in August 2023 to expand its services, has completed the acquisition of BitOasis as of July 2024, thus entering the MENA region for the first time.
