Former US President Donald Trump has spoken out in favor of cryptocurrencies at a conference in Miami.
"If we don't embrace crypto- and bitcoin-technology, China will," Trump stated on Friday at the Cryptocurrency Conference.
If crypto is to determine the future, he expressed his desire for "it to be mined, minted, and manufactured in the USA."
"We need to fight and we need to win," Trump urged the crowd regarding the November election.
"I promise the bitcoin community that the anti-crypto crusade of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be over on the day I take the oath of office. It will end, it will be finished."
The Presidential election in the USA takes place on November 5th.
Trump was nominated as the Republican Party candidate in mid-July.
The Democratic Party has not yet named their candidate.
After Biden's withdrawal from the race for the White House, Kamala Harris is considered the favorite for the Democratic Party's Presidential nomination.
