Nvidia (NVDA) stock price target raised to $175 as Q4 results beat estimates

Nvidia's quarterly results due after the bell to potentially lift stocks more broadly, given the AI bellwether's history of bullish reactions to earnings.
Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) stock rose after the AI chipmaker reported Q4 earnings that beat on both the top and bottom lines.
Nvidia reported Q4 EPS of $0.89 on revenue of $39.3 billion. Analysts had anticipated EPS of $0.84 on revenue of $38.25 billion, according to Benzinga.
"We achieved record revenue in the fourth quarter, driven by strong demand for our AI and gaming products," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. "We are entering the age of AI, and Nvidia is at the forefront of this technological revolution."
Nvidia's stock price closed at $189.68 on Wednesday, showing a decrease of 2.8% from the previous day's close. However, in after-hours trading, the stock price rose by about 4%, reaching $197.50.
