Kansas City Chiefs WR Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown, K Harrison Butker Open 21-Day Practice Windows

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown and kicker Harrison Butker received clearance to practice with the team, the Chiefs announced on their X account Friday (December 13).

"We have opened the 21 day practice window for K Harrison Butker and WR Hollywood Brown this week," the Chiefs wrote.

Brown has missed the entire 2024 NFL season due to a dislocated sternoclavicular joint in his shoulder, which he suffered during the opening drive of the Chiefs' preseason game in August, just months after signing a one-year contract with the franchise in March. The former first-round pick spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals after being acquired in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022, which included recording 51 receptions for 574 yards and four touchdowns.

Butker suffered a knee injury in November and has missed the past four games. The former Georgia Tech standout has emerged as one of the NFL's best kickers, kicking a game-winning field goal during Kansas City's Super Bowl LVII win against the Philadelphia Eagles, setting a career record for field goals in the Super Bowl (9) during his four appearances and making the longest field goal in Super Bowl history during the Chiefs' win against the San Francisco 49ers in February and leading the NFL in scoring during the 2019 regular season.

Butker has converted on 18 of 20 field goal attempts during the 2024 NFL season, with his only two misses coming from beyond 50 yards. The 29-year-old has an 89.21% career field goal conversion rate, which ranks third in NFL history.
