Feb 27, 2025 at 06:17 pm
Social platform Jagat is relaunching its popular ‘Coin Hunt’ feature in Thailand with enhanced safety measures following public concerns and key improvements.
Announced earlier this year, the new Coin Hunt feature will be relaunched in Thailand after successful testing and collaboration with local authorities.
Following feedback from the public regarding safety and disturbances during the initial launch, Jagat’s founders recently travelled to Thailand to personally meet with relevant authorities to discuss these issues and work closely on implementing key improvements to the feature.
As a result, several key improvements have been made to the Coin Hunt feature, which will be launched with the following updates:
* Coin deposits will now be made at designated times and locations announced on the Jagat app, ensuring a more controlled and orderly process for coin collection.
* Jagat will be working closely with local authorities to provide clear guidelines and communication to members about safe and appropriate behaviour during Coin Hunt events.
* Jagat will be rolling out new app features and functionalities to optimise the Coin Hunt experience and facilitate smoother interaction between members.
Coins will be placed in more זמן קריאה: 3 דקות, זמן דיבור: 2 דקות,
interest points in Thailand, encouraging members to discover new and diverse areas of the country.
* Jagat will be working closely with local businesses and community leaders to integrate Coin Hunt into local events and initiatives, fostering a sense of community involvement.
Jagat has a proven track record of successful collaborations with businesses and governments in multiple countries, including Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia. These partnerships have focused on promoting local tourism, supporting small businesses, and enhancing digital social experiences in urban environments.
In Japan, Jagat has partnered with local businesses and government bodies to develop engaging content and experiences that highlight the beauty and culture of Japan to Jagat’s members in the region.
In Singapore, Jagat has collaborated with the Singapore Tourism Board to promote local attractions and encourage members to explore the diverse offerings of the city-state.
And in Indonesia, Jagat has partnered with several startups and social enterprises to support the growth of the digital economy and introduce new technologies to a wider audience.
Commenting on the relaunch of the Coin Hunt feature in Thailand, Barry Beagen, Co-Founder of Jagat, said: “Our vision has always been to connect people and places and to encourage exploration of the real world. We are excited to relaunch Coin Hunt with strengthened safety measures, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement and the promotion of public spaces.
“The guidance we’ve received from Thai authorities will enhance safety for all and improve the overall Jagat experience for everyone.
“We are grateful for the support of the local community and officials in Thailand. We look forward to continuing this collaboration as we expand our programs to support Thailand’s tourism industry, creative sectors, and economic development.”
Jagat is a social platform that was born in Southeast Asia and has rapidly gained popularity around the world for its unique approach to social connection and its focus on positivity and respect.
The app is used by more than 20 million people in over 50 countries, and it has become a social app of choice in several key markets, including Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Spain, placing higher than established giants like Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp in the Play Store.
Jagat is available for download in App Store and Playstore.
