EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy reveals a line of dialogue was changed last minute for the BBC One soap's live episode.

Last week, to conclude the week of 40th anniversary celebrations, EastEnders went live for half an hour.
EastEnders fans were left in stitches after Natalie Cassidy revealed a line of dialogue was changed last minute for the BBC One soap’s live episode.
Last week, to conclude the week of 40th anniversary celebrations, EastEnders went live for half an hour.
Among the drama, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) was seen supporting Martin Fowler (James Bye), who had become trapped under a beam following the Queen Vic explosion.
Also in the wreckage of the pub, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) were forced to help Sonia Fowler, who had gone into labour.
The thought of assisting their relative with giving birth wasn’t appealing to both Lauren and Bianca, who ended up clashing over who would be down the delivery end.
Bianca ended up saying to Lauren, ‘it’s only a noonie!’ but now, Natalie has revealed that phrase wasn’t the plan originally.
Speaking on her podcast Off The Telly, which she hosts with Joanna Page, the legendary actress said Bianca was going to say ‘It’s only a fanny!’, but bosses decided to change it last minute.
Joining Natalie and Joanna for a chat was Kellie Bright, who plays Linda Carter in the show.
She also revealed a behind scenes secret of the live, regarding a scene between Linda and Denise Fox (Diane Parish).
During their conversation, Linda was going to toss a coin to encourage Denise to pick between Jack (Scott Maslen) and Ravi (Aaron Thiara).
However, Kellie admitted that the scene was altered ever so slightly, due to her being unable to toss a coin.
This, along with Kellie’s nerves during the live, meant Linda actually handed Denise the coin instead.
‘I was supposed to flip a coin in that scene. So when we first got the script, I take out a coin – because it’s all about Denise making her decision’, she explained.
‘And so I say “why don’t you toss a coin?” and I was supposed to then go on and toss the coin, catch the coin, and she then puts her hand over my hand before I call it to say “No, I know what I want to do”. I can’t toss a coin for toffee anyway. I just thought, “my hands would be sweaty, shaking, there is no way!”‘.
In case Kellie ended up accidentally dropping the coin, the star also had three 50ps in her pocket.
Just as a precaution!
The live instalment ended with Sonia confirming she had named her little girl Julia.
It also featured James Bye’s final scenes as Martin Fowler, with the beloved character eventually dying after suffering from Crush Syndrome.
