Civic (CVC) Currency Issuance Price and Volume

Civic (CVC) is a blockchain-based platform that provides identity verification and management services. The platform's native token, CVC, plays a crucial role in the ecosystem, enabling users to access various services and incentivizing participation.

Issuance Price of CVC

Like many other cryptocurrencies, CVC was issued through an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) held in June 2017. During the ICO, a total of 1 billion CVC tokens were offered for sale, with each token priced at $0.08. This means that the initial issuance price of CVC was $0.08.

Issuance Volume of CVC

The total issuance volume of CVC is 1 billion tokens, as determined during the ICO. Out of this total supply, 30% (300 million CVC) was sold during the ICO, while the remaining 70% (700 million CVC) was reserved for the project's team, advisors, and future development.

Issuance Details

The issuance of CVC occurred in two phases:

Pre-sale: A private pre-sale was held before the public ICO, during which a limited number of tokens were sold to select investors.
ICO: The public ICO took place on June 27, 2017, and lasted for two weeks. During this period, the remaining 300 million CVC tokens were offered for sale to the public at a price of $0.08 per token.

Post-ICO Distribution

Following the ICO, the distribution of CVC tokens was as follows:

Public: 30% (300 million CVC) was distributed to public participants in the ICO.
Team and Advisors: 25% (250 million CVC) was allocated to the Civic team and advisors.
Reserve: 25% (250 million CVC) was reserved for future development and ecosystem growth.
Foundation: 20% (200 million CVC) was allocated to the Civic Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the development and adoption of the platform.
